About Us

The Public Services Division is comprised of the following departments: Access Services, Undergraduate Engagement & Research, Research Support Services, and the Branch Libraries: Discovery Park, Sycamore, and Frisco Landing.

Public Services collaborates with UNT faculty, students, and staff to support student success and catalyze faculty research. Subject Librarians provide information literacy instruction, and work with faculty, staff, and administration to ensure necessary materials are available in our collections. Our services assist users with accessing materials and resources in our collections as well as those of other libraries. We provide library information and research assistance through our Ask Us service at point of need. Our librarians and staff work with instructors to provide students with course materials through our course reserves services. We design collaborative programs and book displays on interesting topics to enhance student learning and highlight faculty research.

These and many other services we provide support the information needs of UNT students, faculty, and staff, as well as the larger community around UNT. Visit one of our welcoming service points to learn more information about our services, resources, and library spaces.
