About This Space
Many of our general collection books are located on Willis Library’s 3rd Floor. This collaborative floor has study tables, casual seating, and computer workstations. This floor also contains the Digital Libraries Division
You can reach this floor using any corner stairwell, or the main elevator that is located to the right of the main entrance on the first floor.
The third floor is designated as a collaborative space, but is typically one of the quieter floors. Note that the lower level is our designated “quiet” floor.
Collections
Most of the third floor is filled with shelves of books which are organized using the Library of Congress Classification System. Some of the collections you will find on this floor include:
- Willis general book collection
- Oversized books
- Graphic Novels
- Recent periodicals
- UNT Press books
To find a specific book search the Library Catalog or inquire with the Willis Library Services Desk. If you need help locating an item in the stacks, a shelver may be available to assist you.
Additional Information
- We have a scanner and community workstations available on this floor.
Amenities
Men’s and Women’s restrooms are located in the stairwells on the corners of the building. A single-occupancy restroom is located in the stairwell on the southwest corner of the 4th floor and a lactation room is located on the second floor.
